Set up work area

There is no easier way to create stunning, eye catching cards within minutes. This book comes complete with an easy to follow Project card, 4 card sets of cardstock, folded card and envelopes, a set of Outlines Stickers, a Detail Paint Brush, a Watercolour Paint Palette, a bottle of Perfect Paper Adhesive, two containers of Mica Bitz and a Little Dipper. Everything needed except water to start immediately. 

 

Follow along our step by step illustrated instructions with tips for achieving professional results.

Select a Pattern

 

The most difficult part of the project is which of the Outline Stickers to select. There are over 30 outlines provided in a variety of styles.  Once you’ve made your selection, carefully peel off the outline. You may prefer to use an artist knife or a pair of tweezers.

Apply pattern to card paper

 

Place your Outline Sticker on the cardstock. You’ve instantly created an embossed surface that’s ready colour

Mix paint

 

Add a few drops of water to your Watercolour Palette Paint, blend and you are ready to paint with your Detail Brush. Watercolour Palette Paints are pearlescent watercolours in a convenient ready to use palette. Spectacular on both dark and light paper, they are acid free and a little goes a long way

Apply paint to areas of the pattern

 

Simply fill in as much or as little of the Outline Sticker as you desire.

Blending Technique

 

To produce even more lustrous colour variations, mix the paints or let the area dry then paint over with a new colour to blend, highlight or shade.

No mess mounting glue

 

PPA or Perfect Paper Adhesive is non-sticky when wet and absolutely non-tacky when dry. It's great to use for paper, plastic, metal, wood and glass. Perfect Paper Adhesive is so easy to use, clean up and is non-toxic and acid free.

Apply glue for Glitz and Glamour

 

Apply the PPA with your brush to the areas to which you would like to add mica Bitz for a sparkly glittering effect.

Pour on the glitter

 

Generously sprinkle on the Mica Bitz with your Little Dipper scoop over the wet glue. The excess Mica Bits can be tapped off and returned to the container.

Almost done, your unique design

 

Once dry the PPA will turn clear from a milky white. Your unique design is finished and ready to be mounted onto a card.

Apply glue to back ready for mounting

 

Apply the PPA to the back of the cardstock in the corners and centre. Mount onto the front of your folded card.
